Flivver
Rooibos Citrus Gin
AFlivver is a contemporary gin. It's fruity, with a sweet citrus burst, followed by the smooth earthiness of Rooibos. Evoking comforting and familiar memories of iced tea and honey.
A classic pairing with mint, blueberry and lemon enhances the sweetness in the citrus. While a garnish of rosemary or thyme enhances the earthy rooibos and juniper combination. Paired with a good quality tonic or enjoyed neat with a slice of grapefruit or lemon.
The name "Flivver" was prohibition slang for an old Ford. The Model A Ford was a popular vehicle of choice for transporting illegal booze as it could outrun the authorities.

Captain Stone
Bourbon Barrel Aged Rum
Distilled at high proof from slowly fermented molasses, this rum is aged in once used bourbon barrels. Each batch is aged in a single barrel, lovingly named and unique. Flavours of vanilla, oak and a gentle charcoal are imparted on the smooth rum spirit over time.
Stuary Stanley Stone was a Canadian Rum Runner and Captain of the Malahat, a five-mast schooner that serviced the west coast Rum Row during Prohibition. This was where the supply ships would anchor just outside the American maritime border during the prohibition era. This Rum is a salute to Captain Stone's sense of adventure and opportunism in breaking somone elses's rules but not his own.

Still 33 is a Proudly South African Craft Distillery. We create fresh versions of classic spirits by using local botanicals and South African flavours together with modern distilling methods.
For us, '33 represents the spirit of challenging the establishment in the liquor industry. During the prohibition era, although it was not illegal to drink alcohol, the manufacture, sale and transportation of liquor was prohibited. This gave rise to the bootleg liquor industry. A period which made spirits such as gin, moonshin and rum popular for their use in cocktails as people passively fought the great social experiment which oppressed their freedom to celebrate with alcoholic beverages. 1933 marked the end of prohibition, and so, '33 brought freedom to distillers across the United States.
Today, in South Africa, we embrace this spirit of challenging the established spirits market which is tightly controlled by a few large distillers. We do this through innovation and creativity in methods and flavours. And passion for the spirits we create. We use distinctly South African flavours, such as Rooibos, citrus fruit and Fynbos, in creating our spirits.
